Vlada and Francesco

My name is Vlada, and this is our story — mine and Francesco’s. I’m from Ukraine, and he is from Italy, but our journey began online, where two completely different people somehow found each other. What started as casual conversations quickly became something romantic and serious at the same time. We talked every day, sharing our thoughts, our routines, and our dreams.

Francesco made me laugh in a way no one else could, and I felt safe being myself with him. Even though there was a distance between us, it never felt impossible. Instead, it felt like something worth fighting for. Eventually, we decided to meet in person, and from the very first moment, I knew — this was real.

Not long after, we got married and started our life together in Italy. Moving to a new country wasn’t easy for me, but having Francesco by my side made everything feel right. Together, we created our own little world — full of love, support, and understanding. Our family quickly grew, not just the two of us, but also our two dogs and a cat.

We both love to travel, and exploring new places has become one of our favorite things to do together. Every trip is another memory, another adventure that we share.

Francesco often tells me how much he dreams of visiting Ukraine one day. He wants to see where I grew up, connect with my roots, and experience the culture that shaped me. And I can’t wait to show him my home country through my eyes.
