Aleksandra and Niv

If it hadn’t been for my friends, I probably never would have created a dating profile. They kept telling me stories about couples who had met online and eventually built happy marriages. I listened with a smile, but deep down I never believed something like that could happen to me.

At that time, I wasn’t looking to change my life, and I certainly wasn’t planning to leave Ukraine. I was happy where I was and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. But love had completely different plans for me.

Then I met Niv.

What started as a simple online conversation quickly became something much more meaningful. Every day we learned more about each other, and before long I realized that he had become an important part of my life. Our relationship grew naturally, and suddenly the future I had always imagined looked completely different.

Meeting Niv turned my world upside down in the best possible way. He showed me that sometimes the most beautiful things happen when you least expect them. Together, we created a relationship built on trust, laughter, and unconditional support.

This summer, Niv surprised me by organizing an unforgettable vacation in Greece. He planned every detail himself, making sure everything would be perfect. I thought the trip itself was the surprise of a lifetime, but he had something even more special in mind.

During our holiday, in one of the most beautiful places in Greece, Niv got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was completely speechless because I had never expected such a magical moment. Of course, my answer was an immediate “Yes.”

But that wasn’t the end of the surprises.

Instead of waiting months to become husband and wife, we decided to get married right there in Greece. It was just the two of us, celebrating our love in the most intimate and unforgettable way. There were no crowds, no big ceremony, and no complicated plans—only two people deeply in love, promising to spend the rest of their lives together.

Looking back now, I smile every time I remember how strongly I believed that online relationships weren’t for me. Life proved me wrong in the most wonderful way. Sometimes all it takes is one message, one chance, and one person to change your entire future forever.
