One of my favorite and most meaningful hobbies is walking. It’s not just a way to stay active — for me, walking is a path to clarity, reflection, and even creativity. Historically, our brains evolved while we walked — early humans covered many miles daily, and during that movement, our minds developed. Walking wasn’t just about survival; it was deeply connected to thinking, problem-solving, and awareness.
Today, we move less and sit more, and I believe our minds are suffering because of it. When I walk, especially in nature or peaceful streets, I feel my brain awaken. Ideas come easier, my mood lifts, and I feel more alive. For me, walking is not only about the body — it’s about keeping the mind sharp, curious, and connected to life.
